How do I verify a Beckon card is genuine?
Tap the card on any modern phone. It opens a Beckon page that confirms whether the card is authentic. A genuine card verifies on every tap; the confirmation is unique to that moment and cannot be reused.
Do I need an app to verify a Beckon card?
No. Any recent iPhone or Android reads the card by tapping it, with no app installed. The verification happens on Beckon's own servers when the link opens.
Can a Beckon card be copied or cloned?
No. The card carries a secure NFC chip that produces a fresh, cryptographically signed message on every tap. A photographed link replays an old signature and is refused. A copied card has no valid signature and does not verify.
What does someone see when they tap my card?
Only that the card is authentic and to whom it belongs. No contact details, no membership specifics, nothing beyond confirmation of standing. When you tap your own card while signed in, it opens your private concierge desk instead.
What technology is inside the Beckon card?
An NXP NTAG 424 DNA secure NFC chip with AES-128 cryptography and Secure Unique NFC authentication. The verification infrastructure is operated entirely in-house by Beckon; no third party holds the keys.
