What we hold, and why.

Written to describe what this platform actually does rather than to cover every eventuality. Last updated 2 September 2026.

Who we are

Beckon is operated by Bitola Industries Pvt Ltd, a company incorporated in India. Beckon is the data fiduciary for the information described here. Write to hello@beckon.in with any question about your data, including a request to see, correct or erase it.

What we collect when you apply

The membership application form collects your name, email address, mobile number, city, country, how you heard of us, and whatever you choose to write in your own words.

Alongside that we record the page you applied from, any campaign parameters in the link you followed, your IP address and your browser's user agent string. These exist to tell genuine applications from automated submissions and to know which of our efforts reach the right people.

What we collect if you write to us

The contact form collects your name, email, an optional mobile number, a subject and your message, along with the page you wrote from and the same technical detail described above.

What we hold once you are a member

Your membership number, tier, the dates your membership runs, your relationship manager, and any standing preferences you give us so they do not have to be restated. Your card record, including its production and dispatch status and any courier tracking number.

Every request you make of us: what you asked for, when, what we did about it, and the notes exchanged along the way.

Card verification

The code on your card resolves to a page confirming that your membership is real and in standing. It shows your name, tier, the year you joined and a masked card number. It does not show your email, your telephone number, your address or anything you have ever asked us for.

That page is keyed on a random code that is unrelated to the number printed on the card, so a partner who has seen one card cannot derive another member's.

We record that a verification happened, with the time and the requesting address, so that unusual patterns are visible to us.

Who else sees it

Where you ask us to arrange something, we pass the partner only what they need to deliver it. A charter operator needs passenger names and a routing. They do not need to know you are a Beckon member, what else you have asked us for, or anything about your household.

Our service providers see data in the course of running the platform: our hosting provider, and Brevo, which delivers our email. We do not sell your data, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not run advertising trackers on this site.

We disclose information where the law requires it. Where we are permitted to tell you that has happened, we will.

How long we keep it

An application we decline is kept for two years, because people reapply and it is discourteous to have forgotten them. An application you ask us to erase is erased.

Member records are kept for the duration of membership and for seven years afterwards, which is the period Indian tax and company law expects records to be retained.

Enquiries that do not become anything are kept for one year. Verification logs are kept for one year.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or complete it, ask us to erase it, and nominate someone to exercise these rights if you are unable to. You may withdraw consent at any time, though doing so may make it impossible for us to continue as your concierge.

Write to hello@beckon.in. We respond within thirty days and usually much sooner.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS throughout. Passwords are stored hashed and are not recoverable by us or by anyone else. Anything reachable by a public link uses a random key rather than a sequential number, so no record can be found by guessing.

No system is perfect. If we learn of a breach affecting your data we will tell you and the Data Protection Board as the Act requires, rather than waiting to see whether anyone noticed.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The member portal, when you sign in, stores a session token so you stay signed in. That is the whole of it.

Changes

Where we change this policy in a way that affects you materially, we will tell members directly rather than quietly amending the date at the top.

This policy describes our actual practice and is not legal advice. Members and applicants with a specific concern should write to hello@beckon.in.
